It is accredited by  Continuing Professional Development, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto, Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians, and the American Board of Pediatrics.

All revenues generated from course sales go directly into an account housed at the Hospital for Sick Children and go towards paying for course operations, development of new courses, quality assurance, and subsidizing access of courses to physicians who work in resource poor settings.

Course directors and content experts do not get paid for their contributions.  Course directors and content experts do have access to the data for research purposes under Research Ethics approved protocols.
